Man high on drugs climbs the roof of a building, begs police to shoot him

It was quite a dramatic moment when a 25 year old man was restrained and forcefully removed from the roof of a residential building after mounting it earlier today.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa who responded to a distress call from a frantic resident found the violent man on the roof of the single storey home.

The man appeared intoxicated and refused to climb down. When approached, the man removed his shirt and requested Reaction Officers to shoot him.
Officers made several attempts to calm him down and talked the male into climbing down the roof.
